Toner Foil for Stickers

How to foil stickers step by step

Print your designs
Print your sticker artwork onto sticker paper using a laser printer. Set toner density to maximum for solid coverage.

Cut the foil
Cut a sheet of toner foil slightly larger than your printed design. Coloured side up, matte side down.

Foil it
Lay the foil over the printed area and feed the sheet through your foiling machine. Heated rollers bond the foil to the toner.

Peel, cut and apply
Peel away the foil sheet to reveal your foiled stickers. Cut them out and apply as normal.
Tips for foiling stickers
Use smooth sticker paper
Smooth sticker paper gives the best foil adhesion. Heavily textured or coated papers can produce patchy results.
Max toner density
Set your printer to maximum toner density for solid, even coverage. Thin toner means thin, dull foil on your stickers.
Save your offcuts
Smaller sticker designs work well with foil offcuts. Leftover sheets can be reused until the colour is spent.
